The law of attraction is an interesting theory. Although much is written about it, it’s still not scientifically proven. In this article, we will explore what it is, how it works, and how you can use it for your benefit.

The law of attraction

The theory behind it is based on the concept of energy and vibrations. It says that if you dig down deep enough, you will find that everything in the universe at the tiniest level is nothing more than energy. Tiny particles vibrating with a certain frequency. Even our human bodies start as a bunch of tiny cells!

Based on the frequency we emit, we attract a certain frequency from the universe/ether/… (however you want to call it). That’s why some people only seem to be having bad luck, while others always seem to be at the right spot at the right time. If you can optimize the frequency of your vibrations, you will attract the things that you want.

Sounds pretty great, no?

How does it work?

Luckily, we are not born with a fixed vibrational frequency! According to this law, we can change the frequency of our vibrations. You can do this by using the technique of visualization. I have written some articles about the power of visualization, you can find them here.

You have to visualize the object(s) you want to acquire. While visualizing, it is important to imagine it with as much detail as possible. The more detailed, the more likely it will work. Furthermore, it is essential to attach a certain emotional quality to your imagination. Without this, you’re wasting your time. The best way to get this ’emotional quality’, is to imagine yourself already in possession of the object. Have a clear picture in your mind of yourself, owning the object of your desire. What would it make you feel like?

Last but not least, repetition! You have to use this technique every day. The first times it will probably be difficult to get everything just right. With practice, your visualization will improve, have more details and better emotional quality.

These steps are all that you have to do! Once you get started, you’ll have to trust the universe to take care of the rest. Constantly worrying about it, or forcing it, will undermine your efforts.

The final thing I want to say is this: don’t expect everything to be magically delivered at your doorstep! Let’s use an example: you’re using the law to attract 100.000 dollars. It could be that the universe provides you with an opportunity, or that you meet the right person at the right moment, or that you have a sudden insight to improve your business. You will have to act upon these situations, and work for it! Otherwise, you’ll probably never see your 100.000 dollars… Keep an eye out for opportunities or ideas that might start to form.

How long do we have to do this?

The easy answer is: until you get the object you desire! I know, that’s not really helping you. The truth is, I can’t answer that question. That’s going to be different for everybody. Although, you could include a deadline in your visualization.

The law of attraction is based on vibrational frequencies. If we can adjust our frequency, by using visualization, we can attract whatever we want.
